Our Team

Irvin (named after psychotherapist Dr. Irvin Yalom) is our beloved office cat and unofficial emotional support specialist. With a keen sense for when someone needs a little extra love, he’s often found curled up beside clients during sessions or gently nudging a hand for a comforting pet. His nonjudgmental presence, and occasional playful antics bring warmth, comfort, and a touch of joy to our therapy space.
When he’s not busy making hearts lighter, Irvin enjoys sunbathing in window spots. He reminds us daily of the healing power of presence, connection, and a little bit of fur.

Katherine Hart, LAPC
Katherine earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lock Haven University in May 2025. Over the past three years, she has worked in outpatient and inpatient behavioral health, which has shaped her deep respect for each person’s resilience and story.
While Katherine has a special interest in working with the perinatal population, she also specializes in working with persons from adolescence to late adulthood. Her therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in person-centered care. She believes therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all process—and that’s what makes it so powerful. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based approaches, always tailoring treatment to fit each client’s unique needs and goals.
